Whenever I decide to gorge on clif builder bars I seem to have a lot of potential for farting. Why?
What ingredient is primarily causing this to happen? Is it the 20g of protein per serving? What can I eat that will compliment my diet and reduce my potential for farting?

it’s probably from the lactose in the bars, which would come from the protein.

haha. It’s definetely the fiber. Those bars can have up to 5 grams of fiber. They are also made with soy and nut protein which both cause gas. They make a couple flavors that are lower in fiber like lemon. But I would just try a new bar like an original cliff bar or power bar because they are low in fiber. Maybe even try a whey protein smoothie

Put it this way, the more healthy you eat, the more you are going to fart. Have you ever noticed how much more gassy vegetarians are? It’s because they eat so healthy. Try popping a couple of Bean-O before you eat the bar. Trust me they work, I take them before I eat beans, broccoli, works great for anything that gives you gas. There is also things you can take after the fact, but it would already be a farting problem. ( gas-x, phazyme) I am not sure of any foods that you could eat that would help this.
