I want to loose weight, should I use power/protein/fiber bars? Or will they make me gain weight?

I want to loose weight. I’ve been doing aerobics for 15 or 30 minutes a day and about an hour a day of lighter exercise (such as walking). Should I use power/protein/fiber bars? Or will they make me gain weight? Is that something that you eat instead of breakfast or do you eat them before or after you exercise?

I would stay away from processed foods, especially power, protein, and fiber bars. Most of those bars are designed for athletes: they contain protein and CARBS, the two most important things after a workout. So yes, eat them after an intense workout, but otherwise they have little nutritional value.

Eat more fruit, vegetables, and foods high in fiber. Fiber is filling but yields no calories because our bodies can not digest it. And fiber helps clean out your digestive system.

As for breakfast, I recommend eating yogurt with fruit and some granola. Oatmeal with fruit and a little brown sugar is good too!

    Good Luck!
